A game about tide pools and the critters found there…

Turning Tides is a board game inspired by my childhood growing up on the California Coast. A game made with the help of Gabby Garcia, we set out to design a game that could be played by all age groups … well basically we set out to design a game that you could play with your 5 year old child and not get bored.

With its layered mechanics, what resulted was a game that was an engaging and understandable for ages 4+, and a high tension strategy game for 16+.

If you want to try it, it’s free to download and play! All you need is a colored printer, and if you’re playing with young children or rowdy adults, I highly recommend laminating the pieces to prevent damages.
